Chavez Properties Expands Footprint in Cincinnati’s Central Business District

Chavez Properties has added nearly 2.5 acres to its real estate portfolio in downtown Cincinnati. The property, located at 1005 Gilbert Ave., is accessible by both Gilbert and E. Court St. and borders the Hard Rock Casino parking garage. Martin Chavez II – an Asset Manager with the company who oversees non-parking, transitional properties – shared: “The Gilbert Avenue acquisition is consistent with a key Chavez Properties’ strategy: the pursuit of yielding covered land plays with attractive repositioning and/or higher and better use potential.”

The site of a former Greyhound Bus Station, the property currently houses a 25,560-square-foot building that was constructed in the 1970s. It is strategically positioned contiguously to a more than 100,000-square-foot surface lot in the company’s urban parking portfolio.
