Chavez Properties expanded its real estate assets near downtown Columbus, Ohio, with the purchase of property along McKinley Avenue just south of I-670 and the Scioto River. Located at 989 McKinley, the more than half-acre lot was purchased on December 13.  

The property is located just two miles from the company’s surface lot on S. Front Street, which was acquired in 2017. It will be managed by Chavez Properties Commercial Real Estate Management Company, which oversees all non-parking real estate assets in the portfolio. The company will explore redevelopment opportunities on the property, which currently includes a single building being used for storage.
