

Manuel Chavez
Manuel Chavez is a Managing Partner of Chavez Properties. Manuel joined his father, Manuel Sr., in the family’s parking business in its infancy, providing strategic leadership and direction. Over the past 50 years, Manuel has directed the purchase of more than 3 million sq. ft. of real estate in Dallas, Atlanta, Denver, and Ft. Lauderdale.
Under Manuel’s leadership, Chavez Properties had once been the largest private holder of real estate within the Dallas Central Business District. Currently, Manuel focuses on overseeing the Chavez Properties’ financial portfolio, which encompasses surface parking, garage parking, near-airport parking, storage facilities, and industrial investments.
Manuel believes in Catholic education and has served in trustee roles for the Ursulines of Cincinnati Charitable Trust, the St. Ursula High School Advisory Council, and the St. Ursula High School Board. He currently is an active member of the DePaul Cristo Rey Board, chairing its Finance Committee.


Robert Chavez
Robert Chavez is a Managing Partner of Chavez Properties. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1975, Robert opened the company’s Cincinnati operation in 1976. For more than four decades, he has been intimately involved in all aspects of the growth and expansion of both urban and near-airport parking properties nationwide. Robert now works on guidance and strategic growth strategies.
Robert actively supports the arts, having sat on the Contemporary Arts Center Board and the Friends for the School of the Creative and Performing Arts Board. He currently is a Trustee of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra Board and is a past President of its Board. Robert currently divides his time between residences in Cincinnati and New York City.


Martin A. Chavez
Martin Chavez is a Managing Partner of Chavez Properties. Martin balances his time between keeping a watchful eye on portfolio growth and strategically aligned opportunities for both long-term investments in downtown and auxiliary airport parking locations throughout the country. During his tenure, Martin has led major acquisitions for Chavez Properties from Tucson to New Orleans to Philadelphia.
Martin joined his brothers to help lead and grow the family business more than 35 years ago. His focus on acquisition opportunities and internal growth has fueled successful company-owned parking operations and led to lucrative real estate deals that have resulted in prominent development opportunities.
Martin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley. He is an avid supporter of educational initiatives and the arts and recently served on the Board of Directors at Cincinnati Public Radio.


Susana Chavez
Susana Chavez is an Executive Vice President at Chavez Properties. Susana has spearheaded major corporate initiatives that have transformed branding, parking operations, and the customer experience for the Park Place portfolio, the company’s urban parking line of business. She is leading the implementation of technology advancements and touchless payment options – from mobile apps and reservations systems to license-plate-recognition permit parking and enforcement. She also will be implementing a new system to aggregate payment information from the growing number of revenue streams, elevating parking to a high-tech experience.
Joining the family business in 1980, Susana spent nearly 30 years overseeing parking operations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which included management of 550 employees, 30,000 parking spaces, 40,000 daily transactions, and annual revenue in excess of $100 million. She currently directs day-to-day operations of 70 properties in the Atlanta market, growing revenue by 50 percent in the last five years.
Susana holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. She currently serves as Board Chair of the Latin American Association and is a member of the Executive Board for Central Atlanta Progress.


Melanie M. Chavez
Melanie Chavez is a Partner at Chavez Properties. Melanie oversees expansion efforts for Fast Park, including ground-up builds, site expansions, and improvement projects across the footprint. She spearheaded the evolution of the Fast Park brand and its rollout both onsite and online. She also transitioned the Fast Park loyalty program from a punch-card system to a fully interactive system, consolidated and streamlined the revenue control system technology, and built a highly engaged social media presence for which the brand is well known.
Prior to joining Chavez Properties, Melanie was a Manager with Ernst & Young Consulting, specializing in customer relationship management. She also was a Consultant with Pritchett & Associates, a boutique mergers and acquisitions firm in Dallas.
Melanie graduated cum laude from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts. She earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Southern Methodist University. She currently serves on the Cincinnati Opera Association Board, the May Festival Association Board of Trustees, the Cincinnati Symphony Board of Directors, and the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Board of Trustees.


Robert S. Chavez
Rob Chavez is a Partner at Chavez Properties and serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Fast Park, the company’s near-airport parking provider. Rob oversees Fast Park’s growing portfolio – which currently serves more than 2 million travelers annually at 16 facilities across the U.S. – through the management of day-to-day business operations and key partnerships with airport authorities and governmental organizations.
Rob currently is the secretary-treasurer of the Near Airport Parking Industry Trade Association (NAPITA) – a network of national parking operators dedicated to providing dependable and affordable parking and ground transportation at major American airports. In his role with NAPITA, Rob advocates nationally for increased stakeholder involvement in decisions impacting airport ground transportation curbs around the country.
Rob graduated cum laude from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He currently serves as a Trustee on the Board of the Art Academy of Cincinnati and as a Board Member of the Cincinnati Arts Association.


Dale Losey
Dale Losey is the Chief Financial Officer for Chavez Properties. Dale oversees tax planning, financial reporting, accounting, human resources, risk management, and auditing for Chavez Properties and its lines of business. His broad oversight and development of key vendor relationships have enabled implementation of a fully automated financial reporting system that influences lending decisions, produces tax savings, and has improved long-term cost strategies for the company.
Prior to joining the company, Dale worked in financial accounting for family-owned retailer. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Dale has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University with a minor in Finance. He has served on the Finance Council at St. Joseph Parish Cold Spring for more than 10 years. Dale was appointed to the Kenton County Airport Board, operator of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear in 2020.


Beth Freemal
Beth Freemal is General Counsel for Chavez Properties. Beth oversees all in-house legal affairs and plays a key role in advising the management team with respect to business objectives and negotiation strategies. She manages all litigation and represents the company in acquisitions and in its real estate portfolio financing deals.
Before joining Chavez Properties in 2011, Beth was an Associate at Mayer Brown, LLP in the Chicago office’s Banking and Finance Practice where she focused on structured-finance closing billion-dollar transactions. She later moved to Cincinnati, becoming a Partner at Thompson Hine, LLP, working in the firm’s Commercial and Public Finance Practice where she represented clients in asset-based credit lines and public securitization transactions.
Beth received a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Northwestern University, earned her Juris Doctor with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, and was Editor-in-Chief of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. She has served a business volunteer for the Fine Arts Fund and had returned to her alma mater, Mercy McAuley High School, as a member of its Board of Trustees.


Wendy Baumann
Wendy Baumann is Director of Finance for Chavez Properties. Wendy oversees commercial lending and banking relationships spanning the Fast Park and Park Place portfolios. She identifies lending institutions and solicits and negotiates proposals to ensure financial partners are a good fit for both the company and the project, whether refinancing an existing property in the portfolio or completing an acquisition.
Prior to joining the company, Wendy served as a Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at various lending institutions where she initiated, maintained and grew client relationships. Her expertise spanned all facets of commercial real estate financing in the retail, parking, industrial, hotel, and residential sectors. Wendy’s responsibilities included loan origination, underwriting, lease review, negotiation of legal documents, and closing.
Wendy has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies.


Martin Chavez
Martin Chavez is an Asset Manager at Chavez Properties. Martin supervises the property management team that oversees non-parking, transitional properties. His responsibilities include budgeting for capital expenditures, managing tenant relationships, and coordinating and executing leasing strategy and efforts with local brokers. Additionally, Martin actively develops and maintains a pipeline for acquisition opportunities.
Martin previously served as an Assistant Manager at Fast Park & Relax. He worked at 11 facilities in eight cities in this role and eventually helped to establish operations and take the Fast Park brand into a new market. Martin facilitated the hiring and training of team members, created and implemented quality controls and audits, and ensured the brand’s Quality Service Pillars were consistently applied to every aspect of the operation.
Before joining the family business, Martin served as a Relationship Manager at Bank of America. Martin graduated from the University of British Columbia with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics.
